The third house of the Lagna (ascendant) chart governs courage, short-distance journeys, writing, reading, education up to school level, relationships with siblings, health of siblings, etc. It is no doubt that the placement of Venus in the third house of the native’s ascendant or Lagna chart will benefit their siblings more than it benefits them. 

For any reason, if the native does not have siblings, Venus’ 7th aspect on the 9th house will make the person more interested in creativity, fine arts, and to some extent, spirituality, as Venus is also known as the planet of spiritual power (Shukracharya is known as the lord of penance).

Since Venus represents feminine energies, presence of Venus in the third house will likely give the native sisters or female siblings rather than brothers. For this reason, the native is less likely to have brothers, or may have a brother but will have more sisters.

Also, Venus in the 3rd house of the ascendant chart may not be the best because it does not do much for the native himself/herself – except in one of those cases below:

1. Venus in its own signs (Taurus or Libra) – Venus in Taurus in the third house will give great influence and respect to the native, but the native may suffer bad relationships with their siblings who might feel overshadowed by the native’s popularity. However, Venus in Libra in the 3rd house will give good relations with brothers and sisters while the person will also do well in business and be courageous. In both cases, Venus imparts good longevity to the native unless Saturn or the 8th house is afflicted.
2. Venus in its exaltation sign (Pisces) – in this case, the native will enjoy excellent reputation due to their work and business as will also have a very physically appealing stature; they will also get good benefits in the government-related affairs (potentially government jobs) and they will be a good manager (here manager refers to someone who knows how to manage things in their house, family, workplace – basically someone who knows what to say when and what and how, etc.)
3. Venus aspect or conjunct Rahu in Taurus – this will create issues and misunderstandings between the siblings and the native due to various reasons; this is not a good combination except for if Venus is conjunct Rahu in Taurus or Gemini. Venus conjunct Rahu in Taurus will give the person excellent progress in their efforts to grow in life and business, and this conjunction will also ensure that the native is well-respected by their siblings as well as their family.
4. Venus aspect or conjunct Rahu in Gemini – the native will be extremely influential and will also control their brothers and sisters through manipulation and deception; however, they will be obsessed with wealth and will work hard to earn the same.
5. Venus conjunct Ketu – the person will not care much about their siblings and their relationships may be strained by detachment and other issues. However, in its own signs or friendly signs, Venus conjunct Ketu will give the person considerable courage and is also considered indomitable.
