The 5^th house represents progeny or children primarily, but also speculative investments, romantic relationships, pleasures, physical intimacy, intellect, creativity, fortune or good luck, etc.

Jupiter is the natural Karaka or Significator of the 5^th house, so if Jupiter is well-placed in this house, the person will have an excellent luck with progeny or children. Such a person will have bright children, most likely boys who will grow up to be responsible and intelligent as well as successful in life (unless Jupiter or the 5^th house gets afflicted).

Additionally, such a person will also have an overall decent luck in terms of their finances and investments because Jupiter represents good fortune; however, this is not a very good placement for anyone hoping to have romantic relationships as Jupiter is not in favor of love marriages unless they are turned into arranged marriages (this is something I have seen happen in my clients’ lives).

However, such an individual will have an overall good position in their finances and their family life will also be decent.

Furthermore, such a person will also have good friends; this is because a well-placed Jupiter would cast His 7^th aspect on the 11^th house which represents gains, profits, friends, social connections, etc. So, the social circles of such individuals (if they exist) would be helpful even if they may not be too large.

Some considerations to note here –

Jupiter in Cancer in the 5^th house

This placement is applicable to Pisces ascendants. Jupiter in exaltation in the 5^th house would confer numerous benefits to the native if He is unafflicted. Such a person would have great wisdom and be known as a very learned person in his/her social circles. He/she would also have progeny happiness and enjoy good health and have a well-built physique because Jupiter’s 9^th aspect would fall upon the 1^st house which represents the body of the person. Because the 5^th house also focuses on Dharma and religious activities (similar to the 9^th house), a person with an exalted Jupiter in the 5^th house would have a very religious mindset and they would try to motivate others to pursue their faith as well. However, such an individual would be somewhat conceited (full of themselves) and think of themselves to be better than others around them – pride that could potentially cause them problems if the hubris is left unchecked.

Jupiter in Sagittarius in the 5^th house

This placement is applicable to Leo ascendants. Jupiter in His own sign of Sagittarius in the 5^th house will confer several benefits to the person as He will bless the house due to His ownership of the same.  The person would have the happiness of children, as in, they would become a parent and have bright and obedient children who will grow up to be capable and successful. Financially, they would be well-off and overall, such individuals would have a decent life.

Jupiter in Pisces in the 5^th house

This placement is applicable to Scorpio ascendants. Jupiter in His own sign of Pisces will bestow heavy monetary advantages upon the native. If I have to compare all three placements of Jupiter (in Cancer, or Sagittarius, or Pisces), then I would say that the Pisces placement for Jupiter would be the most financially beneficial for the native. Additionally, the person would have immense knowledge of creativity as well as science or practicality. They will also have sound religious knowledge and would be quite learned and educated overall. And as expected, the person would also get the happiness of children.
