The 11th house of the ascendant (Lagna) chart represents profits, gains from professions including investments, inheritance, business, etc., relations with elder brothers, social circle, connections with friends, accumulated wealth, emotional attachments (to some extent, because the 11th house overlooks the 5th house through the 7th aspect which governs love, pleasures, etc.)
In Vedic astrology, the 11th house has a special significance because even malefic planets will usually deliver excellent results in the 11th house – for example, Rahu in the 11th house could make the person extremely rich, although their gains may be through less ethical or unethical means. So, malefic planets in the 11th house can also give monetary gains.
Some exceptions exist, of course… Mars, for example, if situated in Cancer in the 11th house of the ascendant, it will be debilitated and the native may suffer issues with their wealth gain.
Venus in the 11th house will arguably give the best results materialistically to the native, perhaps right after Rahu (who would deliver the maximal wealth and material gains to the individual).
There isn’t much to be understood here; Venus being a benefic planet will give excellent wealth to the individual along with a comfortable life as well unless afflicted.
Some considerations to note here are:
- Venus Jupiter conjunction – in the 11th house, the benefic effects of Venus are magnified even more when Venus conjuncts with Jupiter; the gains and profits that the native would enjoy would come from ethical or religious sources. It is also possible that the family of the native may be a rich but religious or spiritual one, or they may have dealings with spiritual or educational ventures. Needless to say, Venus Jupiter conjunction in the 11th house is perhaps the most excellent combination that may be expected. The only conjunction that would further strengthen the blessings of the planets on the ascendant would be a three-planet combination such as Venus Jupiter Moon, in which case the person would earn considerable wealth rather effortlessly due to Jupiter Moon creating a Gajakesari Yoga, an auspicious yoga that bestows wisdom, spirituality, and wealth to the individual.
- Venus Moon conjunction – another excellent combination for the 11th house; Venus Moon conjunction in the 11th house will bestow considerable riches upon the individual unless, of course, Moon is afflicted or debilitated in which case the person will stress over money and wealth for much of their time and they may earn lots of money but will have a hard time retaining it.
- Venus Rahu conjunction – Venus Rahu conjunction in the 11th house will give the person riches but they will not be from a morally acceptable path; additionally, the person will be connected with many high-profile businessmen, politicians, and other influential people but they will not be friends of the native and may even betray him/her for their benefits.
- Venus Ketu conjunction – surprisingly, the 11th house is the only house in the ascendant (Lagna) chart wherein even Ketu mostly delivers good gains. This is true even for Ketu in Scorpio in the 11th house as well as Taurus – where Ketu would otherwise perform poorly. So, it can be said that in the case of the 11th house, Venus Ketu conjunction will give a very decent, even extremely good income and wealth to the individual.
*Note that if Venus is debilitated in the 11th house, it will still give some income to the individual, but the effects would be greatly reduced or the individual (native) will have to work much harder to earn wealth and accumulate it. Depending on the condition or position of the Moon in the chart, they may or may not be able to retain the wealth they have earned. For reference, Venus is debilitated in Virgo.
Other benefic planets when aspecting Venus in the 11th house will magnify its blessings upon the native.
